About the Founder
Dr. Abiso Kabir (FBSE) is a visionary leader and accomplished professional with a deep commitment to excellence and a passion for creating a lasting positive impact. With over three decades of experience across diverse fields such as Information Technology, strategic management, and public service, Dr. Abiso has made significant contributions to the development and well-being of communities both within Nigeria and internationally.
Born on October 13, 1972, in Gamboru Ngala, Borno State, Dr. Abiso’s journey of excellence began with his early education at Shokwari Primary School, followed by his secondary education at Government College Maiduguri. His academic achievements include a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Maiduguri, as well as a Master’s in Information Communications Technology from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN). Driven by a relentless pursuit of knowledge, he further earned a PhD in Entrepreneurship Management from Ballsbridge University.
Dr. Abiso’s professional career is as diverse as it is impactful. He currently serves as the Chairman and CEO of Walwanne Groups, where he leads a conglomerate focused on various sectors, including agriculture, communications, and strategic business development. His leadership extends to several other key positions, including President of the Association of Business Specialists and Entrepreneurs of Nigeria (ABSE) and Chairman of Finger Mobile Protocol Communication Company.
His commitment to public service is evident in his roles with various local government councils in Borno State, where he has held positions such as Treasurer and Deputy Director of Works and Housing. He has also played a pivotal role in political campaign organizations, including his recent position as the National Chairman of the Forum of Tinubu/Shettima Support Groups.
Throughout his career, Dr. Abiso has been recognized with numerous awards and honors, reflecting his dedication to excellence and service. His certifications from prestigious institutions, including Fellowships from the Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Global Communication and Diplomacy, highlight his professional expertise and commitment to continuous learning.
Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Abiso is deeply involved in community service. He serves as the State Scout Commissioner for Borno State and has held various leadership positions in local development associations, demonstrating his dedication to the social and economic upliftment of his community.
